Great little spot for a quick dinner- the service was great and my ramen was filling. I would recommend getting the spicy- the non spicy ramen was just a bit off but the pork broth made up for it, very low key but fun vibe.
Avra is a pleasant restaurant, and overall the experience was good, although I perhaps expected a bit more given its reputation.
We especially liked the Avra Chips, very crispy and perfect for sharing. The meat dishes we tried were decent and well-prepared, but honestly, nothing particularly memorable.
We were quite successful with the desserts: the Butter Cake was delicious, moist, and decadent, and the 16-Layer Chocolate Cake was also very good, although be warned that it's enormous and quite rich; ideal for sharing among several people.
We also tried the Spanish Albariño Pazo das Bruxas, which we really enjoyed: fresh, smooth, and a very pleasant accompaniment to dinner.
In short, a good atmosphere, good service, and some very tasty dishes, although overall the food was good without being particularly surprising. The chips, the Albariño, and the Butter Cake were the highlights of the meal.
