Apollon
24 Rue Jean Nicot, 75007 Paris, France
We had a meal here on Monday evening, around 1830pm, we chose to sit outside as the weather was lovely, but the bins had just been emptied and with the open front and heat the smell made it slightly uncomfortable, the waiting staff seemed quite busy despite there only being 2 tables of 2 people, unloading deliveries, sorting glasses etc.... the food was good with reasonable portions and plenty of flavour
A wonderful discovery of Greek cuisine at Apollon! The fried sheep's cheese appetizer was excellent, and the specialty platter was good, but nothing special. As for the main courses, the lamb shank was incredibly tender, and the assortment of dishes was also very good. It could have used a touch more seasoning, though. We opted for the dessert assortment, which was delicious, to finish our meal. Unfortunately, we arrived just before a group of 25 people, which meant the service was quite slow. However, we warmly thank the two servers who were simply delightful.
We ordered gyros which were excellent, generously filled, and the meat wasn't greasy at all. Everything looked delicious. Perfect service, I highly recommend it!
